At this conference, Dr. Michael Oeter, Head of the Foreign Trade Department of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, Dr. Nariman Sadri, Vice President of the Iran-Austria Joint Chamber of Commerce, and Christoph Grabmayr, Economic Counselor of the Austrian Embassy in Iran, delivered speeches.
In a part of this meeting, Nariman Sadri, while referring to the history of bilateral cooperation between Iran and Austria, elaborated on the existing economic capacities between the two countries and expressed the readiness of the Iran-Austria Joint Chamber of Commerce to promote bilateral opportunities in commercial and trade sectors.
Mr. Rahimzadeh, an economic expert at the Iranian Embassy in Vienna, read a message from Dr. Bagherpour, the esteemed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Austria, for the attendees. In this message, reference was made to long-standing trade relations and the positive atmosphere, with the Embassy expressing its readiness for constructive engagement and comprehensive cooperation with the Chamber in pursuit of shared goals.
One of the distinguishing features of this meeting was the presence of active companies from various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, cellulose products, legal services, water resource management, mining, construction and building materials, new technologies, and startups during the B2B sessions.
On the sidelines of this meeting, the traders and businessmen present in the trade delegation were introduced to opportunities for entering the European Union market and Austria.
