April 7th, corresponding to the 18th of Farvardin in the Iranian calendar, has been designated as World Health Day.

This year’s campaign, under the slogan “A Healthy Start, a Hopeful Future,” aims to end preventable maternal and newborn deaths and to promote long term health and well being for women.
